Citrix Boot Camp Virtual Event
Citrix turned to Bluetext to help bring one of their networking events into a completely virtual space. The Citrix team had one goal: create a seamless virtual experience that provided the same quality of content and connectivity as an in-person event. Bluetext designed a fully-customized virtual event experience, marked by live video playback, a resource center, and extensive tracking to provide an interactive and seamless UI and UX.

UX Bringing the Space to Life
Just like an in-person event: any attendee would have been provided an agenda of events, locations and maps. The same guidance and resources need to be readily accessible in a virtual event. Through thoughtful UX, the homepage provided a high-level overview of the event’s itinerary.

Outcomes
The Virtual Event platform and marketing campaign delivered an engaging, data-rich and interactive digital experience that the Citrix audience (and revenue stream) loved.

Personalized Touches
As a part of the event’s promotion, Citrix awarded the first 200 registrants a personalized digital caricature. Bluetext created a library to house all of the caricatures and provide straightforward UX to the users looking for their artwork. During the event, attendees could rack up points by completing the requirements for each badge, each of which was accompanied by a custom-designed icon.

Our team integrated Zoom for users to engage directly with representatives in live Q&A sessions, and preserve an intimate networking experience in a digital world.
Digital Briefing Center
To stand out in the competitive cybersecurity landscape, Citrix partnered with Bluetext to launch Executive Connect—a fully digital, branded, and interactive executive user experience. Designed for invite-only audiences, the platform offered a curated mix of pre-recorded and live video content, rich media, and up-to-the-minute resources tailored for executive briefings. The experience enabled Citrix to deliver personalized landing pages for each Session Center, reaching both domestic and international prospects with precision and impact.
Building on that momentum, Bluetext also helped Citrix transform its thought leadership and product marketing strategy through a customized Digital Briefing Center (DBC). Seamlessly integrated with Citrix’s CRM and marketing tools, the DBC enabled round-the-clock engagement, capturing leads and sales opportunities at every visitor touchpoint. Bluetext trained the Citrix team to manage the CMS and leverage built-in analytics—empowering marketers to export user data in just a few clicks and feed insights directly into their broader marketing and sales ecosystems.

Rumble In The I.T. Jungle Campaign
When Citrix wanted to go after its competitor VMware head-on, Bluetext designed a gamification experience that pitted the two contenders against each other. Promotional posters and teaser videos started a rumble in the 'I.T. Jungle' and delivered a user experience designed to pack a punch against the competition.
The teaser video features the training regime of a real world champion fighter, and leads to an interactive rock-em, sock-em fighters game with the Citrix kid taking on Victor Machismo– and winning of course.
