Migrating a Complex Digital Experience to WordPress
Bluetext partnered with Black Duck to recreate its existing digital experience within WordPress, translating the established site design and functionality into a flexible, scalable CMS architecture. Rather than redesigning the website, the engagement focused on preserving the integrity of the existing user experience while rebuilding the underlying platform for a seamless transition away from AEM.
Bluetext developed the WordPress environment and component system necessary to support Black Duck’s extensive content ecosystem, ensuring the new platform could accommodate the breadth and complexity of the existing site while providing a more streamlined foundation for ongoing content management.

Scaling Content Migration for a Global Audience
With a website spanning thousands of pages, content migration was a critical component of the transition. Bluetext scoped and executed a comprehensive migration strategy encompassing up to 2,300 pages, carefully transferring content into the new WordPress environment while maintaining consistency across page structures, templates, and digital assets.
To support Black Duck’s international audience, Bluetext also implemented multilingual functionality for Japanese-language content. The result was a WordPress platform equipped to manage a large-scale content library and support Black Duck’s global digital presence within a unified content management experience.
